PRESENTATION
The Production Design course aims to provide the acquisition of scientific knowledge and general and in-depth disciplinary skills on the processes of creating objects, products or functional and attractive environments, taking into account the economic, political and social aspects to be studied. which are intended.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Provide students with the means to develop a project activity in Industrial Production Design or in Environment Production Design.
PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
The graduate of the Production Design course at ISP TUNDAVALA
must have the following professional profile:

Characterize the typology of space

Respect the cultural and material identity of the place;

Hierarchize the activities carried out in space;

Make use of instruments and methodology related to the analysis and design of spaces;

Make use of technical knowledge in terms of materials and technologies applied to spaces;

Enhance materials in accordance with ecological practices and sustainability principles in the design of spaces;

Master the practices and techniques of research and project presentation in the field of project design;
-
Coordinate work teams in the field of project design.
The curriculum of the Project Design course should enable professional training that reveals, at least, the following skills and abilities:

knowledge of relevant anthropological, sociological and economic aspects and of the entire spectrum of individual and collective needs, aspirations and expectations regarding the built environment;

the understanding of the questions that inform the actions of preservation of the urban landscape or not and of evaluation of the impacts in the environment, with a view to the ecological balance and the sustainable development;
-
Necessary skills to conceive urban and landscape design projects and to make objects, considering cost, durability, maintenance and specification factors, as well as legal regulations, and in order to satisfy the cultural, economic, aesthetic, technical, environmental accessibility requirements of users;

Knowledge of the history of the arts, aesthetics and technique, likely to influence the quality of conception and practice of production design;

Knowledge of theory and history of art, of the interiors of urban planning and landscaping equipment, considering their production in the social, cultural, political and economic context, with the objective of critical reflection and research;

The mastery of research techniques and methodologies in urban and regional planning, urbanism and urban design, as well as the understanding of the infrastructure systems necessary for the conception of studies, analyzes and intervention plans in interior, urban, metropolitan and regional;

Specialized knowledge for the adequate and economical use of construction materials, construction techniques and systems;

The understanding of structural systems and mastery of conception and structural design, based on studies of material resistance, stability of constructions;

Understanding climatic, acoustic, lighting and energy conditions and mastering the appropriate techniques associated with them;
-
Design practices and technological solutions for the preservation, conservation, restoration, reconstruction, rehabilitation and reuse of equipment and spaces;
-
Drawing skills and mastery of geometry, its applications and other means of expression and representation, such as perspectives, modeling, models, models and virtual images;

Knowledge of computer tools for processing information and representation applied to design;

The skill in instrumental elaboration in the making and interpretation of surveys necessary to carry out environmental and industrial design projects.
