CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY
PRESENTATION
The Psychologist is a top-level professional, capable of studying interpersonal processes and interpersonal relationships, enabling the understanding of individual, group, institutional and social human behavior, within the scope of establishments of various natures, wherever these relationships take place. It applies theoretical and technical knowledge with the aim of identifying and intervening in the determining factors of the subjects' actions, in their personal, family and social history, also linking them to political, historical and cultural conditions.
PROFESSIONAL EXIT
The psychologist finds a vast field of action in the field of family relationships, school education, community organizations, public health, industry, urbanism, work relations, the mass media, professional choice, conflicts and others.

Clinical Psychology – the exercise of the activity can be carried out in private practice, clinics, health posts, hospitals. The professional diagnoses and treats emotional problems. The psychologist assists as a patient a person, a family, a couple or groups of people in all age groups. It also assists exceptional people with problems of family and/or school maladjustment.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The undergraduate course in Psychology has the general objective of training qualified professionals to fully exercise their function in the production of Psychology, comprising here the study and analysis of intrapersonal and interpersonal processes; the applicability of theoretical and technical knowledge of Psychology, in order to understand and intervene in individual, group, institutional and social human behavior: the identification and the intervention in the determining factors of the subjects' actions, linking them the political, historical and cultural conditions .
